Devin Emanuel Haqq
A native of
Nashville, Tennessee, and a Tennessee State University graduate, recently
appeared in Mother Courage at the Classical Theatre of Harlem. He has appeared
Off-Broadway at the Tribeca Playhouse, and the New Perspectives Theatre. Devin
has appeared in numerous regional theatre productions his most notable Regional
Credit was As You Like It at the Arden Theatre. Devin is a graduate student of
the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and while there appeared in the following: She
Stoops to Conquer, Loves' Labors Lost and Scapin. Two Trains Running at the
Tennessee Performing Arts Center. Devin makes regular appearances as a stand-up
comic at the Ha Comedy Club of NYC. Film credits: Alyssa & Sara,
Psycho-cits, Elf, Brother to Brother, and The Green Mile. In addition, he
is the host of a 6 part educational video series entitled Research Skills for
Students. Devin is currently the principal actor in a Time Warner Cable
commercial, which is in regular rotation on cable networks of the Tri-State
Area.
Production credits: Line-Producer/Unit Production Manager of Alyssa & Sara,
written and directed by Josh Wick, currently in post-production. Devin has
worked as an Art Department PA on numerous national commercial spots, along with
crew positions on various independent films in NYC. The Assassin will be
Devin E. Haqq's debut as a director.
